A Space Just for You
You can expect a warm, welcoming and consistent presence. There’s no one quite like you, so I adapt what I do to meet your individual needs. I work from a holistic perspective that integrates body, mind and spirit. I blend evidence-based therapies such as CBT and mindfulness-informed approaches with innovative body-centered healing strategies such as Somatic Experiencing. In our first few sessions, I’ll ask questions to understand what you’re experiencing and the changes you want to make, and then we’ll map out a plan to help you get there. I’ll offer information and tools you can use. I’ll help you build skills. But more importantly, I’ll be there to facilitate your process of discovery.
Change happens best when we have the space and support to make contact with our experience in the present moment. I’ll invite you to explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and body sensations so that you can see for yourself exactly how things connect in real time. When you have your own aha moment, you plug into the power to take action. The wisdom you need is waiting inside you, and my goal is to help you tap into it.
