When you have a stress-related injury, your body’s normal survival reactions can get stuck in overdrive, even when the crisis has passed. Somatic experiencing is an emerging therapy that uses the body’s innate wisdom to reset an overactive stress response at the neurobiological level.</image:caption>

Relationship counselling can help you reconnect with those you love, deepen intimacy, and foster mutual understanding.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Therapy for Anxiety - Somatic Experiencing (SE)</image:title>
<image:caption>So many of the symptoms of anxiety and depression are physical, as well as mental and emotional. You may feel shaky, like you can’t breathe, or notice a sense of dread in the pit of your stomach when you are on the spot. When our nervous system is sensitized to stress, we can start to react to everyday challenges as though they are a four-alarm fire. SE is an emerging therapy that draws on our body’s innate wisdom to help us access greater calm and confidence at the neurobiological level.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - My story</image:title>
<image:caption>I do this work because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to struggle with self-doubt, experience anxiety or long for more connection. So I know that it’s entirely possible to build confidence, break through your fears, and create amazing relationships. I’ve drawn on talk therapy to identify and shift the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that kept me stuck. I explored both science and spirituality, developing a daily practice of mindfulness and compassion, which brought greater freedom and joy. Most recently, I experienced and then trained in a body-focused approach to healing, reaching places and patterns I couldn’t access with words alone. The effort and commitment required has been well worth it. I’ve experienced incredible gifts in the process of growth and change that I could never have predicted, and I would love to be there to witness how those gifts start to show up for you.</image:caption>
